I have been competing in Benchrest group and score competition since 2002. After taking advantage of early retirement from Hewlett Packard in 2005, I decided to see if I could build competitive rifles to the level I was used to shooting. It's taken several years of training and trial & error, but I believe that I've been fortunate in learning a little bit about it. Credit must go to my excellent mentors and teachers - Billy Stevens, Bart Sauter, Brady Knight, and Charlie Hood. There are many others whose wisdom and advice I've benefitted from, far too numerous to mention - you know who you are.

In 2007 I decided to start offering services to others - specializing primarily on centerfire competition and hunting rifles. Complete rifles, rebarreling, stock bedding, action blueprinting, and firearms repair are all offered to the general public.

I also began carrying limited cleaning and reloading supplies to matches since there always seemed to be something critical that I or another competitor forgot to bring. Demand for this has grown enough to prompt me to create benchrestsupply.com to began selling supplies by phone and internet as well. I will only stock items that I have used myself that I know are of highest quality.
